FOWH have been the local National Trust Volunteer Group for over 21 years now. They carry out conservation tasks, generally on Watlington Hill under instruction from the NT Rangers, varying from scrub bashing and burning (not on valuable downland grass) to path maintenance and 'cleaning' the historic monument - the White Mark. Sometimes they work with other groups including the Girl Guides, Oxfordshire Consveration Volunteers, Reading National Trust Volunteers and Green Gym as well as Watlington In Bloom.
WEG carry out conservation work parties mainly in the Chalk Pits but also on Watlington Hill, around the town and other areas locally. They also have interesting and informative speakers and walks and outings.
